Remove Erlangualsfr.biz redirects
Erlangualsfr.biz is a typical scam website that tries to trick you into subscribing to advertisements. It misuses a legitimate browser feature that allows websites to show users notifications directly on the desktop. But if you press “Allow” when you get redirected to Erlangualsfr.biz and see a notification saying “Erlangualsfr.biz wants to show notifications”, you will be spammed with ads because Erlangualsfr.biz is a spam website.
Plenty of legitimate websites use this browser feature that allows them to send users notifications. For example, if you want to keep up with important news stories without having to visit a news website, you can allow it to show notifications. Or if you frequent a certain website and want to be updated on what’s posted, you can allow that site to show notifications. Those notifications would appear on the right side of your screen, even on your desktop. When a legitimate site is showing those notifications with your permission, the feature can be useful. However, the issue is that sites like Erlangualsfr.biz are essentially misusing it to spam users with ads.
When you get redirected to Erlangualsfr.biz, the site will display a message saying you need to click “Allow” to continue to the site. The notification request pop-up will appear saying Erlangualsfr.biz wants to show notifications. There’s really no reason to allow these notifications from questionable sites, seeing as they have nothing to offer to you besides ads. The site itself is harmless, so are its shown ads as long as you don’t click on them. Interacting with them could be dangerous because you could end up downloading something malicious. For example, a notification may be purposely made to appear like a system alert, and you may be tricked into downloading something malicious. Best case scenario, it would be some kind of potentially unwanted program, worse case – malware.
In most cases, users are randomly redirected when browsing high-risk websites. Having adblocker installed can significantly decrease the chances of being redirected, so it’s recommended to have it installed. On the rare chance that you are redirected on a regular basis, you may have adware installed on your computer. If it is adware, it would need to be gotten rid of to delete Erlangualsfr.biz redirects permanently.
An adware infection could cause regular redirects to Erlangualsfr.biz
In the majority of cases when users get redirected, it’s caused by the site they were visiting. Usually, the culprits are sites that have pornography or pirated content. Clicking on anything when browsing them could trigger a redirect to sites like Erlangualsfr.biz, which is why having adblocker is very helpful.
When you get redirected on a regular basis, seemingly randomly, it’s probably adware. Adware installs via freeware bundling, meaning it can come attached to free software as an extra offer. When something is attached to a program, that something is permitted to install alongside without requiring additional permission. To prevent this from happening, always download programs from official websites instead of third-party sites. And when installing free programs, always opt for Advanced (Custom) settings instead of Default. Advanced settings will make all extra offers visible, and you will be able to deselect them. All it takes is unchecking the boxes.
Erlangualsfr.biz removal
If you have allowed Erlangualsfr.biz or any other questionable website to show you notifications, you need to revoke that permission. You can find instructions at the very end to help you. However, it’s equally important to determine why you are being redirected to such questionable websites. If you were browsing a high-risk website when the redirect happened, install adblocker or avoid visiting such sites. But if you are redirected on a regular basis, scan your computer with anti-virus software for adware. Detecting adware manually may be difficult, which is why we recommend using anti-virus software. Deleting the adware would remove Erlangualsfr.biz redirects.
