Freevideos24h.com is highly questionable website that pushes a social engineering scam that tries to trick users into subscribing to advertisements. These scams take advantage of a legitimate browser feature that allows websites to send notifications to users.

 

When you get redirected to Freevideos24h.com, you will get a browser notification that asks you to click “Allow” to continue to the site. The site explains that this is essentially a “confirm you are not a robot” check, which is complete nonsense.

Like we just mentioned, this is a legitimate browser feature that allows certain websites to show users notifications if they get the permission. For example, a news website may ask to send notifications in order to keep users up to date with important news stories without users needing to visit the site. But unfortunately, scammers are misusing this feature to spam users with ads.
