Delete iousstylegu.biz pop-ups

iousstylegu.biz is a highly questionable website that tries to trick users into subscribing to ads using a social engineering attack. When you get redirected to the site, you will be greeted with a browser notification saying “iousstylegu.biz wants to show notifications”. If you press “Allow”, you would be agreeing to see ads on your desktop.

iousstylegu.biz is one of many websites that are taking advantage of a legitimate browser feature that allows websites to send users notifications. You may have come across a lot of legitimate websites asking to send you notifications, and that essentially means they want to show you notifications related to their activities on your desktop, so that you are always up to date without needing to visit the sites. For example, a news website may ask to show you notifications in order to keep you updated with important news stories. But this feature is also used by scam sites like iousstylegu.biz. But instead of important updates, you’d be agreeing to see ads if you allow them to send you notifications.

There really no reason why you should agree to see notifications by iousstylegu.bi. Those ads will be annoying to say the least. However, we should also mention that they could expose you to a lot of unreliable content. You could be shown ads that resemble legitimate system notifications, and could be tricked into downloading something malicious or falling for a scam. For example, an ad promoting a questionable or even malicious program may be made to appear like a legitimate update notifications, and you could be tricked into downloading said potentially malicious program.

If you find yourself being constantly redirected to iousstylegu.biz, your computer may be infected with adware. Adware is a small infection that mainly focuses on exposing you to as many ads as possible. If that’s what’s causing you to get redirected, you’d need to get rid of it first to delete iousstylegu.biz redirects permanently. However, it’s also possible that you’re redirected merely because you were browsing a questionable website. A lot of sites, such as free streaming sites, or ones hosting pornography or pirated content, have questionable ads, and clicking on anything on them could trigger a redirect. If you have given the site permission to show you notifications, the last section of the report will explain how to revoke it. You can also permanently turn of this feature so that you do not get notification requests from sites.

Adware distribution methods

If you are constantly redirected, even when browsing safe sites, you’re probably dealing with adware. Adware, like other similar infections such as browser hijackers and potentially unwanted programs (PUPs), often install via software bundling. Software bundling is essentially adding additional offers to free software in a way that allows them to install alongside. Most free programs, especially the ones you download from non-official website will have something attached to them. They’re set to install automatically but are still optional. To prevent their installation, you need to opt for Advanced (Custom) settings when given the option. Those settings will display all offers, and you will have the option to deselect all of them.

However, if you got redirected once or twice when browsing high-risk websites, it’s probably the site that’s to blame. High-risk sites often have questionable ads and trigger redirects, so browsing them without adblocker is not a good idea.
